86th Anniversary of Armenian Genocide Commemorated

Students, faculty, and community members gathered
around a model of the Armenian Martyrs Monument at California State University, Fresno’s Free Speech Area, on Tuesday, April 24th, for the 86th commemoration of the Armenian Genocide.

HH Karekin Speaks at Fresno State

His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians paid a special visit, by invitation of the Armenian Studies Program, to the Fresno State campus, on Wednesday May 9, 2001.

Genocide Display Vandalized

Vandals repeatedly defaced a number of posters containing information about the Armenian Genocide that were on display in the Henry Madden Library the week prior to April 24, 2001.

 

President Bush Breaks Campaign Promise By Avoiding the Word Genocide

Armenian Genocide of 1915 in his official statement issued on the occasion of the 86th anniversary of the Genocide.
