this literate lawyer from Philadelphia, who has spent his adult
life in Paris and was Saroyan’s lawyer, written on a monthly
basis for his newsletter, including five on Armenia and an obituary

done by an 11-year old student (Emile Boucheron) in a rural school

Sarkis (Zabounyan), Paris, France, Nadine Coleno, Sur l’eau,
Sarkis esquisse, Paris: Editions du Regard, 2002, 30 pages, large
format, lavishly illustrated. Sarkis [Zabounyan] is one of France’s
and Europe’s best known artists, who has established installations
and schools for children all over Europe. The volume is part of
an exhibit which encouraged children to work with art materials.
Sarkis (Zabounyan), Paris, France, 21.01.2000-09.04.2000, Bordeaux:
Musée de Bordeaux, 2000, 178 unnumbered pages. Lavish catalogue
of Sarkis [Zabounyan’s] installation in Bordeaux in 2000 and
a presentation of 25 very short films produced and directed by Sarkis.
Vahe Shahinian, Blinks of Eternity, Damascus, 2001, text in Armenian
and English. Shahinian is a photographer and Blinks is a rich album
of color photos of Armenian architectural monuments and the landscape
