Nalchajian Scholarship Fund Established

An Armenian Studies scholarship was recently established in the name of Mary Nalchajian by her family.


Mary Nalchajian was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts on June 17, 1907 and passed on February 19, 2005. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Sarkis in 1962.


Mary is survived by four children, Olga Beers, Dr. Charles Nalchajian (Esther) Dr. Richard Nalchajian (Josephine) Zabel Boyajian (Vahan), nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.


Education was a very important priority with Mary and complying with her wishes an Armenian Studies scholarship fund has been established in her name for qualifying students.
