SVETLANA BAGDASAROV STAFF WRITER
Question: "If you had the opportunity to spend a day with an Armenian celebrity, who would you choose and why?"
Name: Janik Oganesyan Major: Biology Year: Sophomore "I would have to say Charles Aznavour, because he is a respected Armenian and plus, he would give me a tour of France."
Name: Nayiri Moumdjian Major: Business Year: Freshman "I would spend the day with my favorite singer, Paul Baghdadlian. His lyrics are heartfelt and have depth. I listen to his music almost everyday."
Name: Aaron K. Telloian Major: Philosophy Year: Freshman "I wouldn't be able to pick a specific celebrity since my respect goes out to all the Armenian athletes reclaiming fame on the world circuit. However, if I had to choose, I would spend the day with either boxer Kahren Harutyunyan or Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan. As an athlete, I can identify with all the athletes who are fighting to reclaim the prestige of Armenia in a global sense."
Name: Suzan Merdzhimekyan Major: Laboratory Technician Year: Freshman "If I had the opportunity to spend a day with an Armenian celebrity I would choose Tata Simonyan. Tata is truly an inspiration to the Armenian community."
