EGHVARD

Type: Three aisled basilica
Location: Eghvard, at the foot of Mt. Ara, Armenia
Date: VI c.
Evidence for date: Inscription in Ergatakir and the name of Catholicos Moses II, for whom it was built.
Important details: Salient apse and T shaped piers, vaulted compartments: similarly shaped and proportioned to Dvin. Traces of portico on north side.
