Summary:According to Thierry and Donabedian
(1989), the single naved church was built in the village of Garni.
This church had a deep semi-circular apse with a vault that was
strengthened by three archbands resting on pilasters. This church
is reminiscent of K'asal. Both of these churches had ornamental
moldings in the east façade. It was a type of molding characteristic
of the 5th and 6th centuries.
